Open Procedure (eu) SBH | Schulbau Hamburg, a state-owned enterprise of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg (hereinafter referred to as SBH), is responsible for planning, constructing, maintaining, and managing school properties while considering the needs of the schools and adhering to sound economic principles. SBH also leases its more than 400 schools to the Hamburg Authority for Schools and Vocational Training (BSB As part of the expansion of the Carl-Götze School site, a double gymnasium with an attached daycare center is being added. The building's gross floor area is approximately 2,216 m². The gymnasium is designed in accordance with DIN standards and is therefore suitable for competitions. A small gallery for spectators is located above the ancillary rooms. The western section of the building includes two floors of additional space for the adjacent daycare center. The existing trees are a defining feature of the school grounds. Access to the construction site and deliveries is via Brödermannsweg 2, in the area of ??the gymnasium and the fire department access road, which is located in the southern part of the school grounds. The new building will be constructed using solid construction methods. The floor slabs and parts of the walls are made of reinforced concrete. Other load-bearing walls are constructed of masonry or reinforced concrete. The hall roof has a steel support structure.
