Tender description : Tenders are invited for RFID Asset Tracking Solution The City University of New York (CUNY) is seeking a qualified vendor to provide a turnkey Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) asset tracking solution that will include tags, equipment, software, installation, project management, staff training, and on-going support and maintenance. For the purposes of this RFP, assets broadly refer to physical items of value owned or managed by the University—such as IT equipment, furniture, laboratory instruments, and other institutional property—that require tracking and inventory control. The RFID asset tracking solution will be implemented and used by 26 CUNY institutions and Central Office at all their locations. Interested respondents are encouraged to review in detail the attached solicitation document (RFP) and, if the minimum qualifications are met, to submit a proposal in accordance with the submission requirements as detailed within. The Procurement Lobbying Act (PLA) Applies to this Solicitation. The restricted period began with the publication of this ad. Compliance Procurement Lobbying Act Required Forms: Vendor shall complete, sign and submit the following forms if they are selected. 1. “Offerer’s Affirmation of Understanding of and Agreement pursuant to State Finance Law § 139-j (3) and § 139-j (6) (b)” 2. “Offerer’s Disclosure of Prior Non-Responsibility Determinations and Certification of Compliance with State Finance Law §139-j and §139-k”. Under the requirements of the State Procurement Lobbying Act all communications regarding advertised projects are to be channeled through the Office of the Executive Director of Strategic Sourcing and Chief Procurement Officer (*Designated Contacts). Until a designation is made, communication with any other CUNY employees concerning this project that is determined to be an attempt to influence the procurement may result in disqualification. Contact with CUNY: Under the requirements of the PLA, all communications regarding advertised projects are to be channeled through the Designated Contact. Communication with respect to this procurement initiated by or on behalf of an interested vendor through others than the Designated Contact may constitute an “impermissible contact” under NYS law and could result in disqualification of that vendor.
