Tenders Are Invited for Request for Proposals (rfp) Security Guarding Services – Tdb Harare Regional Office
Established in 1985, TDB is an investment-grade African regional development
finance group, with the mandate to finance and foster trade, regional
economic integration, and sustainable development, with an asset base of
USD 10 billion.
The Bank provides bespoke bilateral and syndicated short and long-term
financial solutions in numerous sectors to sovereign, financial institution, and
corporate clients, including SMEs, from the region. This includes direct financing
via senior and mezzanine debt, equity, guarantees, export credit financing as
well as a range of non-financial products such as advisory, asset management
and agency services
TDB is part of TDB Group, which also comprises the Trade and Development
Fund (TDF), Eastern and Southern African Trade Advisers Limited (ESATAL), TDB
Captive Insurance Company (TCI), and the TDB Academy.
The Southern Africa Regional Office of the TDB, located at 70 Old Enterprise
Road, Newlands, Harare wishes to outsource security guarding and rapid
response monitoring services. The Bank also wishes to extend the services
(under a separate agreement), to maintenance of alarm system (including
provision of rapid response services); maintenance of CCTV system; electric
gate and electric fence. Accordingly, the Bank is looking for experienced
SCOPE OF WORK - SECURITY SERVICES
• Experienced unarmed security guards to provide 24-hour guard services at
70 Old Enterprise Road, Newlands, Harare.
• Vendor shall provide and supervise security guards who have passed preemployment drug screening and background checks; and who have the
mental and physical qualifications, experience to successfully perform
their duties.
• Security guards shall be properly dressed in uniform and equipped with
right tools to effectively execute duties.
• The security guards’ main duties shall be to ensure the safety of TDB staff,
visitors and assets.
• Vendor shall provide Rapid Response Monitoring Services at 70 Old
Enterprise Road, Newlands, Harare
