Tenders are invited for contract for the public service of street and beach cleaning in the municipality of Almería
The object of this contract is the public service of street and beach cleaning in the municipality of Almería. This service includes the cleaning of waste abandoned in public spaces, including beaches, the cleaning of stains, graffiti, the emptying, washing, and maintenance of trash bins, the removal of unwanted weeds and shrubs, as well as the transportation of collected waste to specific treatment facilities. Law 7/1985, of April 2, on the bases of the local regime, in its article 25.1, assigns to municipalities the promotion of all kinds of activities and the provision of public services that contribute to meeting the needs and aspirations of the local community, indicating among others, in article 26, the competencies in the field of environmental protection and street cleaning. The characteristics of the services covered by the contract are as follows.
