The Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo has requested a credit from the International Development Association (IDA) in the amount of USD 200 million to finance the cost of the Urban Flood Resilience Project in the Democratic Republic of Congo (PRIUR), and intends to use part of the funds from this credit to finance the services of a consultant (firm) responsible for monitoring and supervising the development work on the FUNA River in Kinshasa.
2. This call for expressions of interest follows the General Procurement Notice published on August 19, 2025, on the websites of the World Bank, UNBD, ARMP, Media Congo, and the Infrastructure Unit, and in the newspaper Le Potentiel.
3. The services include the control and monitoring of the works to develop the Funa Riverbed and the areas along its banks, including the roadway, over a distance of 3.653 km.

5. The Infrastructure Unit, the Project Implementation Agency, invites interested candidates to submit their applications to provide the services described above. Interested consultants must provide information on their capacity and experience demonstrating their qualifications to perform the services: (i) be a consulting firm or a firm specializing in infrastructure; (ii) Have a legal existence of at least ten (10) years, accompanied by the relevant legal and regulatory documentation, (iii) Have completed at least two (2) experiences in monitoring and controlling civil engineering works, including one (1) experience in monitoring and controlling works for the development of a river with a length of at least 1 km or for flood control in an urban environment during the
