Tenders are invited for central process control system
The subject of the public procurement is the establishment of a central process control system in the company Plinovodi d.o.o. as the operator of the gas transmission system in Slovenia. The central process control system will be a key process information system for remote monitoring and management of the gas transmission system. Therefore, with this order, we are proceeding to the tender for the supply and implementation of a modern and widely established control system that will replace the existing one and provide a good technical basis for the further development of the operators activities in light of the upcoming green transition and the management of the transmission system with renewable gases. In addition to having to be based on modern but proven standards and technologies in the field of control systems and ensuring high availability of operation, the central process control system must also provide flexibility in configuration and architecture, upgradability and expandability of content, modularity of functional components of the system, and connectivity through standard communication protocols. The system must also enable the inclusion and monitoring of gases from renewable sources, including monitoring the share of hydrogen. An important segment and emphasis of the order is also to ensure compliance with the recently increased requirements in the field of information security.
