Expression of Interest:The luganville resilient urban water supply and sanitation project (lruwssp) will support the government of vanuatu to improve urban services, mainly water supply, sanitation, and climate change and disaster resilience of luganville municipal area. lruwssp will develop a new water supply source, upgrade the existing water supply distribution system, and support water supply operations and management services, provide sanitation, hygiene, and fecal sludge management facilities, all with consideration to climate risks; and enhance the resilience of communities to natural hazards by providing multipurpose emergency shelters. the project is expected to be completed by september 2032.
The project management advisor will assist vpmu’s project manager to effectively and efficiently manage the implementation of lruwssp.
