Request for Expression of Interest (eoi): 1. The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), through its Office in Bolivia, requests expressions of interest from qualified suppliers to contract one (1) supplier to carry out the design, construction, and installation of one (1) incineration oven for illegal drugs for the Special Force for the Fight against Narcotrafficking. 1.1. The service will be provided and installed in La Paz, Bolivia. 2. The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) works with States and civil society to prevent drugs and crime from threatening the security, peace, and development opportunities of citizens. UNODC's support for the Implementation of the Strategy against Illicit Trafficking in Controlled Substances and Control of the Expansion of Coca Crops seeks to strengthen the Special Force to Combat Drug Trafficking (FELCN) in procedures related to the final disposal of seized illegal drugs, as well as to encourage the use or application of environmentally friendly methods in order to reduce the environmental impacts caused by the open-air burning of these substances. 2.1. The expected term for the development of this contract is one hundred and forty (140) calendar days from the date of signing. 2.2. The tentative date for the start of services is next October 2025. 3. In this sense, one (1) contractor (from any country) will be appointed that meets the technical and financial conditions indicated in the formal tender that we will be publishing for the provision of the required services. 3.1. Technical Specifications: - Incineration furnace design. -The incineration furnace must contain: Primary material burning chamber, Secondary gas burning chamber, Cyclone or filter battery, Gas outlet chimney, Material inlet door, Material recirculation and Material crusher. -The structure must be static or rotary type, complying with international quality and environmental standards. -You must be delivered fully installed, provide training for use to the personnel who will be operating it, including tests, manuals, personal protective equipment, tools, maintenance plan, among others. 4. This expression of interest is made to qualified suppliers to provide the service at all costs for the design, construction and installation of one (1) illegal drug incineration furnace for the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime - UNODC in Bolivia that have the capacity to supply the service mentioned by UNODC, through a contract / purchase order. 4.1 UNODC intends to make a total award to one (1) supplier that meets the requested specifications. 5. Please note that this document is not a call for bids.The purpose of this document is to identify companies that would be interested in participating in the tender when it is issued and if invited to the UNODC-managed tender. 6.
