Tenders are invited for militarization work vessels
This is hereby invited to participate in the procurement of framework agreement militarization work vessels. FMV procures two work vessels to replace HMS Furusund and HMS Pelican. The vessels will give the marine military bases the opportunity to support other associations with torpedoed, logistics and underwater work as well as supplied diving ability. The two working vessels are built on the shipyard Armon in Vigo, Spain. The first vessel is expected to be handed over from FMV to the Swedish Armed Forces in September 2027 and the second in September 2028. The first vessel is planned to arrive in Sweden in September 2026 and the second in September 2027 where supplementary installations are to be carried out before handing over to the Armed Forces. The work includes project management, development of system solution/design, installation of GFE equipment, installation and commissioning of military radio systems, hardening of IT systems, ILS, system safety work and verification.
