Tenders Are Invited for Consultancy Services to “identify Fodder Technologies; and Forage Seed Status and Needs in the Clusters
the Scope of Work and Specific Tasks the Assignment include (a) Conduct Desk Review of Fodder Technologies and Forage Seed Situations Around the Globe And Africa Relevant to the Igad Region and in the Igad Region, Available Innovative Resilience Technologies and Practices That Can Be Promoted in Identified Clusters (b) Conduct Situation Analysis in the Selected Cluster and Collect Proven Fodder Technologies and Forage Seed Status; Harvesting and Preservation Practices Covering Areas of Production, Utilisation and Marketing, with a Potential for Up-scaling. the Technologies and Practices Shall Cover Those Successful Under- Rainfed and Irrigation Management Under Commercial and Smallholder Management, (c) Review Good Practices on Feed Reserve Elsewhere; the Status of Feed Reserve in the Igad Region ; and Advise How to Feed Reserve Will Be Secured at Three Levels ; Household ; National and Cluster Levels, (d) Develop a Draft Assessment Report with Clear Recommendations for Interventions; and Scale-up Strategies and (e) Facilitate a Validation Workshop to Enrich and Validate the Assessment Report.
