invitation to Bid – Supply of Goods
the Government of Virgin Islands (govi) Has Received Financing From the Caribbean Development Bank (cdb) in An Amount Equivalent to Sixty-five Million United States Dollars (usd $65m) as Per the Financing Agreement Towards the Cost of the Procurement of the Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Mechanical Equipment, Fire Pump System and Information and Communications Technology Systems Project and Intends to Apply a Portion of the Proceeds to Eligible Payments Under This Contract. Payment By Cdb Will Be Made Only at the Request of Govi and Upon Approval By Cdb, and Will Be Subject, in All Respects, to the Terms and Conditions of the Loan Agreement. the Loan Agreement Prohibits a Withdrawal From the Loan Account for the Purpose of Any Payment to Persons Or Entities, Or for Any Import of Goods, If Such Payment Or Import, to the Knowledge of Cdb, is Prohibited By a Decision of the United Nations Security Council Taken Under Chapter Vii of the Charter of the United Nations. No Party Other Than Govi Shall Derive Any Rights From the Loan Agreement Or Have Any Claim to the Proceeds of the Loan.
the Ministry of Finance is the Executing Agency for the Project, and the Ministry of Communications and Works, is Responsible for the Overall Implementation of the Project. the Ministry of Communications and Works Via the Ministry of Finance Intends to Invite Sealed Bids From Eligible and Qualified Bidders for the Supply of the Procurement of Mechanical, Fire Protection and Ict. for the Purposes of This Procurement, the Lots May Include, But Are Not Limited To:
lot 1 – Mechanical Equipment, Ducting Systems and Associated Controls and Devices
lot 2 – Fire Pump System and Fire Protection and Alarm Systems
lot 3 – Ict Systems
associated Controls, Interfaces, Testing, Commissioning, and Integration Services.
