Tenders Are Invited for Facilities: Jfk Colisseum Chiller Project
Project Description
The City of Manchester DPW-Facilities requests interested firms submit qualifications for Design-Build (DB) services for
replacing the ice rink refrigeration system, cooling tower and switch gear at the JFK Coliseum.
The project will include design and construction services necessary for replacing the chiller, along with required pumps,
cooling tower, piping, controls integration, switch gear and electrical modifications.
Additional scope and services may be added as required by DPW-Facilities.
The project scope will be developed as a part of this project from DPW Design Standards as provided by the Facilities
Department acting as the Criteria Architect/Engineer (“Criteria A/E”).
All aspects of the project and related issues will be implemented and operated consistent with the Contracting Authority
and/or Owner’s policies and procedures.
B. Scope of Services
The selected Design-Builder (“DB”), will provide the following categories of services: develop and maintain estimates of
probable construction cost, value engineering, project schedules, and construction schedules; lead and manage the
Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, Construction and Closeout stages.
