Tender Are Invited For REMEDIAL AND REFURBISHMENT WORKS - BARBADOS LANGUAGE CENTRE
1. The Barbados Community College (Bcc) Is Undertaking Remedial And Refurbishment Works To The Barbados Language Centre Located On Its ‘eyrie’ Campus. The Facility, Constructed Approximately Nine (9) Years Ago, Has Developed A Number Of Structural, Architectural, And Mechanical, Electrical, And Plumbing Defects, As Identified In A Comprehensive Condition Survey Conducted In Late 2024.
The Primary Objective Of This Procurement Is To Engage A Suitably Qualified And Experienced Contractor To Execute The Necessary Remedial Works To Restore The Building To A Safe, Functional, And Durable Condition. Key Focus Areas Of The Works Include Mitigation Of Moisture Ingress, Remediation Of Structural Defects, Upgrading Of Mep Systems, And Renewal Of Architectural Finishes.
The Proposed Works Are Intended To Extend The Service Life Of The Facility, Improve Internal Environmental Conditions, And Ensure The Building Is Fit For Continued Academic Use. The Contractor Will Be Required To Carry Out All Works In Accordance With The Procurement Package Provided Within The Tender Documents.
