Tenders Are Invited for Design, Supply and Installation of the Namaacha–boane 66 Kv Transmission Line and Associated Substations Infrastructure
the Electricidade De Moçambique, E.p. (edm) Has Received Financing From the African Development Fund Hereinafter Called the Bank Toward the Cost of the Namaacha – Boane Transmission Line and Associated Infrastructure Project, and Intends to Apply Part of the Proceeds Toward Payments Under the Contracts for the Lot 1: Design, Supply and Installation of the Namaacha–boane 66 Kv Transmission Line, and Lot 2: Associated Substations Infrastructure Located at the Existing Boane Substation. for These Contracts, the Borrower Shall Process the Payments Using the Direct Payment Disbursement Method, as Defined in the Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines and Procedures for Investment Project Financing, Except for Those Payments, Which the Contract Provides to Be Made Through Letter of Credit.
Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 14:00 hours, Maputo Time, of 8
October 2026. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will
be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone
who chooses to attend at the address below at 14:00 hours, Maputo Time, of 8 October 2026.
8. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of Lot 1: 646,000.00 USD Lot 2: 167,000.00
