Tenders are invited for Laboratory equipment 6 batches
The University of Bucharest launches the open auction for the purchase of laboratory equipment (water distiller, magnetic stirrers, autoclaves for acid digestion, Real Time PCR device, Ultra-freezer -86°C) necessary for carrying out research activities within research project no. 17CoEx/2026 titled National Multidisciplinary Center of Excellence for Combating Resistance to Antimicrobial Treatments, implemented at the University of Bucharest.
The automatic water distiller is necessary for obtaining high-purity distilled water used in the preparation of reagents, buffer solutions, and working media, reducing the risk of contamination of experiments and ensuring the reproducibility of analyses.
The magnetic heating plate with four positions is necessary for the simultaneous preparation of solutions and reagents, conducting chemical reactions, and maintaining controlled temperature during experiments, contributing to increased efficiency of laboratory activities.
The autoclaves (reaction vessels for acid digestion) are indispensable for the digestion of biological and environmental samples under high temperature and pressure conditions, a necessary step before determining elemental composition and other instrumental analyses.
The Real-Time PCR device is essential for analyzing gene expression, identifying and quantifying nucleic acids, and conducting molecular biology experiments provided in the project, contributing to obtaining rapid, sensitive, and reproducible results.
Ultra-freezers (-86°C) are necessary for the long-term preservation, under optimal conditions, of biological samples, collections of microorganisms, DNA, RNA, cell lines, and other biological materials resulting from research activities, maintaining their integrity throughout the duration of the project and beyond.
Electric heating magnetic stirrers allow for experiments that require precise control of temperature and stirring speed, being used for the preparation of reagents, syntheses, and chemical reactions specific to the research activities carried out within the center.
Batch 1 Water distiller - 1 unit.
Batch 2 Magnetic heating plate with four positions - 2 units.
Batch 3 Autoclaves (reaction vessel for acid digestion) - 2 units.
Batch 4 Real-Time PCR device - 1 unit.
Batch 5 Ultra-freezer -86°C with accessories - 2 units.
Batch 6 Electric heating magnetic stirrer - 4 units.
Number of days until which clarifications can be requested before the deadline for submitting offers: 17 days. The contracting authority will respond clearly and completely to all requests for clarification/additional information on the 11th day before the deadline for submitting offers.
