Acquisition of Equipment for the National Backbone
The Islamic Republic of Mauritania has received a loan from the International Development Association (IDA) to finance the cost of the West Africa Regional Digital Integration Program (WARDIP–Mauritania). It is anticipated that a portion of the funds granted under this loan will be used to make payments under the contract for the acquisition of equipment for the national backbone, the details of which are outlined in section 2 below.
The Ministry of Digital Transformation and Administrative Modernization (hereinafter referred to as MTNMA), as the Contracting Authority, hereby invites eligible Bidders to participate in this tender and submit their sealed bids for the supply of active components, the development of technical sites/centers, and associated services to be installed on the national backbone and its complementary extensions. This includes, in particular, the supply, installation, and acceptance testing of:
Active transmission equipment (WDM, IP, supervision, etc.);
Environmental equipment for shelters and cabinets (energy, air conditioning, security, generators, solar workshop, batteries, internal wiring, etc.).
